Commission Based Sales Position

Salesperson Needed for Rapidly Growing Software Company

Black Box is a custom software development company offering services aimed at solving problems and growing businesses. Our experts work closely with clients to provide full cycle solutions to their organization’s needs, creating custom enterprise software and advanced frameworks, platforms, systems, and infrastructures.

We sell a wide variety of products, such as Replicam Management Suite, as well as services, such as on-site investigative analysis and full infrastructure development. Our clients are large organizations, corporations, and municipalities, such as The University of Georgia, Pink Ribbon Story Foundation, and several cities around the United States.

Job Description

The selected applicant will be responsible for cultivating relationships and finding entry points where our software and/or services can bring value to a potential client. Using these entry points applicant will generate a paying client for company.

Selected applicant will also be responsible for maintaining a good relationship with clients brought to company. Working with the client and technical departments within company to help client express their needs and wants and make sure they are fulfilled.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or Technology related field(s).
  • Ability to understand expressed technology requirements and potentially offer high level solutions
    • Software experience or formal education in software related field a plus.
  • Experience in sales or business management as it relates to software products and services (Client / Server / Mobile / Applications / Systems / Infrastructures)
  • Experience in lead generation, client conversion, customer relations, and customer account management
  • Experience in improving and extending contact database
  • History of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Detail oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Have your own network of contacts
  • Most recent work experience in sales is preferred

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with contact database and own existing networks and connections to generate leads, opportunities via phone, email, and in person
  • Quickly qualify sales opportunities and work to reach the decision makers within the company or organization
  • Give online and on-site presentations and demonstrations, tailored to each client’s individual needs
  • Study our markets
  • Identifying potential sales opportunities
  • Make efficient use of business-to-business referrals, leveraging existing relationships to create or solidify new opportunities
  • Close software sales and execute services agreements
